tRNA-Phe, ball-and-stick model

tRNA-Phe, ball-and-stick model

thingiverse

This is a complete ball-and-stick model of tRNA-Phe (PDBID: 1EHZ). Each nucleotide has been split up into the sugar-phosphate backbone and the nucleobase to make printing easier. In cases where there are mostly planar base pairs, both nucleobases are in the same model. Pins and holes allow assembly. Filenames that have 'cube' in them refer to hydrogen bonds that are to be printed separately. A complete model (trna.stl) is included so you can see how it all goes together. Recommending scaling: 700% (in mm scale) Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 1 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: Recommend printing with a brim that is at least 3 or 4 layers high. This helps keeps the spheres on the build plate.
