I wanted to raise a TronXY X3A and place the control box underneath, but I didn't feel the legs available here correctly matched the look and feel of the 3D printer. So, based loosely on the concept provided by pwalter824 (thanks), I designed a set of legs that follow the svelte lines and square finish of the TronXY frame.

The legs are suitably strong and sturdy, and they're easy to install each requiring 2 x 2020 extrusion M4 T-Nuts (8 in total) and 2 x M4 10mm Pan Head / Button Head Screws (again, 8 in total).

I also cut some 2mm PVC rubber into four 25mm x 25mm squares that were stuck to the underside of the 4 x legs for cushioning, to reduce any vibration, and for additional grip to stop the printer moving around the work area.

There's 2 x versions of leg provided: With or Without space for the 3D printers original acrylic L-Shaped 'feet'

Print a set of 4 of the leg type you require with the model placed flat on the print bed. To achieve a 100% successful model print 2 x each of the 2 x model files for your chosen leg type (with or without the 3D printers original acrylic L-Shaped 'feet' with the makers mark (an unobtrusive mark on the lower inside area of each leg) facing upward.

When installing the legs position them so that the makers mark on the left legs face each other, and the makers mark on the right legs face each other. This will ensure the legs look their best when printed on a bed surface that provides a single glass-like flat surface, as the glossy surfaces of the front legs will be oriented to point forward, and the glossy surfaces of the rear legs will be both be pointing backward.

=====

If you like this model please click the 'Like' button.

And I'm super happy to see photo's of people's makes, so please come back and share a picture of your print. :-D

And if you found my design helpful or it saved you some $$$ I'm always grateful for a small donation that will help fuel future designs by way of a cup of coffee. Thank you.

=====

This model is not to be uploaded or sold in any form, or modified, and is intended for personal use only.

Print Settings

Printer:

TronXY X3A

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

25%

Notes:

I printed in Black PLA with a Triangle infill at 25% which creates a strong leg, but feel free to experiment.

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
