TRS-80 Model 100 Custom Folding Leg Extensions

Designed to replace the typical "peg" or extension "legs" used to angle the TRS-80 Model 100 (Tandy 102). (They may work on other similar units.) Over the years, I've made similar legs using plastic coat hangers, pencils, etc. I always lose them when I store the unit (kind of of like missing socks!). These are a folding set that can be left on the unit when stored in its protective case. They are wedge fitted and will stay in place well! The legs add 6mm of height to the stored computer. When folded out this changes to 40 mm! (1 1/2"). New: There is a short version that is now available. This short version extends to about 30mm (1 1/4"). The V4 versions are a little less bulky than the V3. They may be a little more difficult to print and the hinge is smaller. However, they don't stick out of the computer's base as much. See the photos. The leg is printed in place. The current version has of 8/29 has a stronger hinge and is easier to print. Besides a little basic cleanup it should be ready to go after printing. Note: Try adding a "Brim" if bed adhesion is a problem. Supports will most likely gum up the hinge. Printing can be tricky. The good thing is it takes around 20 minutes to print a single leg! I prefer the PETG over PLA for fit and finish. I appreciate any comments? DG Printing: See Print Settings.
