I have occupied myself during this lock down period by building up a couple of vintage CAD stations using 20 year old software. Solid Edge V12. i first used this product on a P3 machine Win98 and probably about 256 ram. Running this on a NEC laptop 1.73 G Celeron M with 4 GB ram and 32 bit windows xp the software runs well. Now I have had a bit of practice with the old program and becoming comfortable using it again, i find this vintage software to be no less productive than the latest on modern equipment, the graphics being not as pretty the main difference
