Trumpet for Maxbotix XL-EZn range of ultrasonic sensors. These are to protect the sensor from wind and rain when used as part of the Oxford Flood network sensor. The cutting template is just a thinner version of the base that can be used to accurately drill and cut the box without damaging the trumpet itself. Instructions Print the trumpet and the cutting template so that you can accurately drill and cut the case. The bolt holes are for 12mm M3 bolts but may need enlarging with a 3mm drill bit. The M3 bolts go through the mounting holes in the sensor, through the case and screw into the holes in the trumpet. They should make their own thread and hold it securely.
