A holder for quick access to your mutes while playing. Unlike other models found on Thingiverse, this clamps onto your sheet stand without the need for third party clamps (it does require some nuts and bolts, details below). I designed two custom sized rings for my cup and straight mute, but more can be added to the assembly. Your mutes might not fit, but if you're skilled in Fusion 360 (or other CAD software) you could probably design one of your own (I guess I should have made it parametric...) If you use some arts&crafts foam or something similar, it actually clamps quite firmly to the sheet stand. After you've done that, you can rotate the rings into a convenient position and easily lock them down with the provided wingnut. The rings are designed with chamfers on both sides so that the mute can be easily seated and taken out without catching the edge. with some clever crafting you can also silence the rings for stealthy mute docking (more on that below).
