These are intended for educational truss building and testing. Various truss apex angles can be tested and compared. These corner joints (printed in pairs) support the outward thrust cause by loading the apex. Different apex angles can be tested with one horizontal beam. The closed sockets (square holes) slide onto the horizontal beam and the open pockets (facing up) receive the lower ends of the "rafters". Either use small (#2) screws or cut short pins from 1/16" brass rod found at hardware and hobby stores. You can also let the horizontal member extend out past the joint and glue on a stop block. The holes may not print round on many machines so you may need to clean them up with a drill after printing. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: med.
