Soldering iron stand for the TS80P soldering iron. The iron can be dropped in and retained, even with a heavy cable pulling it down it remains seated and will tip the entire stand before removing the iron. ( Although once tipped the iron will probably come out ). Used M4 hardware (2xM4 Nuts + Bolts of your choice). The hole pattern is inch spacing, I reused a cheap soldering iron stands base as the base of my stand, however, all you need is a base with 2 4.3mm holes 25.4mm apart to screw the holder into. The stand has a lip that holds the iron in firmly with a cable pulling down on it, while also allowing the iron to be quickly and naturally 'dropped' in.
