Applicable for all standard tubes, made of aluminium and plastic.This type of a TUBE SQUEEZER allows a vertical stand of the tube on a table.The model is optimized for a plastic injection-moulding manufacturingand /or 3D-printing. Whether a CNC-machined version is possible too, I don't know.Notes:Attention!The assembly shows an interference between the REWINDER and the LEAF SPRING.The reason: The LEAF SPRING is modeled in the manufactured state, and sothe interference shows the travel stroke (approx. 1.35 mm) of the LEAF SPRING.The LEAF SPRING should be made of » POM « to reduce the premature stress relaxation of the plastic material.An alternative solution could be a metallic version of the LEAF SPRING.In this case a redesign and a new calculation of the LEAF SPRING is necessary.All dimensions have been taken accurately from the ORIGINAL product.A strength calculation of the LEAF SPRING has not been done.Many thanks to Kenny Wilson, for sharing the tube as a (.stp)-file.I used this tube as a component in my assembly, for some renderings.The model is available in following formats:STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assemblyand native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.zip)-folder,for all users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
