For printers that use the 6mm (4mm ID) filament tubing to support the wiring harness, like the QIDI X-One2, this presents a problem if you decide to use an alternative method of feeding filament into the extruder. For our printers, we're feeding the filament from an overhead shelf, which means the 6mm tubing is not inserted into the fan shroud. In order to support the wiring harness, this part provides a way to "park" the end of the filament tube so that it is still attached firmly to the fan shroud. This simple part is attached to the top of the fan shroud with epoxy. You may need to drill/ream the inside of the part for proper fitment, or resize it on your slicer to get a good fit.
