This is my tumbler built to clean old metal objects or eliminate machining edges. Use a plastic container of 167.5 cm in diameter and 33 cm in height, purchased in a store. The motor is a high torque 100 rpm (not the one in the images that was for testing but dimensions are similar) and has no problem spinning 3-4 kg of coarse-grained silicon carbide. I used many aluminum parts but it is possible to make the same in 3D printing. A total of 11 bearings are needed (8 bearings 10x15x4 and 3 bearings 10x16x5). You also need 4mm screws for securing thrust bearing supports, pulleys and gears, for the motor you need 3mm screws. The big gear on the bottle is fixed with 4 small screws. It is very useful even if need many time work to see results.
