"Turbine" style Oreo Cookie Grinder This grinder uses what I have dubbed a "turbine" design. The top teeth resemble a turbine and are designed so that on counter-clockwise motion herb is drawn toward the 90° section of the lower teeth. When turned clockwise herb is drawn back towards the top, rolling over the 45° angle of the lower teeth. Simply compress the top and bottom together, then give the top a few turns back and forth, making sure to turn at least 1/4 the way each time. The result is a perfectly ground herb in a few simple turns. Tolerances create a finished grind of 1-3mm. The included brush design prints two brushes at the same time. It is advisable to turn up your fan speed for this print as the bristles are individual bridges tied between the two brush bodies. After printing simply cut them apart with side cutting pliers (a razor blade may do it as well), then run your finger over the bristles until they have loosened up off of each other. The opposite end of the brush is a tooth perfectly fit to clean the bottom of the grinder should your herb stick. Brushes were successfully printed in PETG with 100% fan speed, a 0.4mm nozzle, and 0.2mm layer height. I am unsure if any other material/hardware/settings will work. It is a very small and quick print, feel free to test it and let me know what works. Print two cookies in black, and one creme file in white, then glue each half of the creme to one cookie. Pretty self explanatory. I used a few drops of superglue which will bond well with some pressure applied. I see no reason epoxy wouldn't work. All files successfully printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill. The turbine of the grinder will likely print a lot better with a smaller nozzle. I don't have any on hand to try it. works fine with a 0.4mm, I just had some cleanup to do on the edges.
