<p>I had an old HP photosmart C3190 that I wanted to use "bottom up" to scan a pinball play field.</p> <p>It didn't work because of the top cover... To do this you need a "flat bed" scanner. Almost impossible to find now ...</p> <p>So I disassambled my printer, removed the sides an the cover.<br/> I removed the useless LCD screen<br/> I removed the calibration white band that I taped on the glass<br/> and then just add 4 3D printed pieces to prevent the glass to slide.<br/> Add a few pieces of tape to fix the glass and prevent it to fall when upside down.<br/> That's it your scanner is now a "flat bed one"</p> <p>Sorry the video is in french !</p> <p><a href="https://youtu.be/GJYF7VLu_R4">https://youtu.be/GJYF7VLu\_R4</a></p> Category: Camera
