The design consists of two distinct components: an outer bracket featuring hinges for seamless integration with other elements, and a inner part securely holding the lamp socket in place. This redesign simplifies replacing light bulbs and ensures precise dimensions to prevent obstruction of the hook on the back of the socket. The updated design is specifically tailored to work in harmony with decorative polyhedral elements, allowing users to create unique lamps for ambient lighting effects. A thoughtful feature of this design is a hook at the rear of the lamp holder, enabling effortless hanging and flexible placement around the room. Future plans include attaching multiple truncated-icosahedral lamps to a chain that can be draped elegantly over furniture.
