Turn Signal Helper

Turn Signal Helper

My mom is experiencing some shoulder issues which makes lifting her left arm difficult. I noticed she was struggling to use the turn signal in her car, so I decided to come up with a solution. I call it the "Turn Signal Helper" and I hope it can help others in the same situation. It consists of two prints; an adapter bracket and a knob. The adapter bracket connects to the turn signal via two zip ties. A 1/4-20 threaded rod screws into the adapter bracket with heat shrink placed over the threaded rod for aesthetics. The knob screws on to the end. I recommend printing in PETG or filaments with a tolerance to higher temperatures to withstand the climate range within a vehicle. The threaded rod is cut to size to fit the driver and bent to place it in the optimal location.
