So... are you the kind of person who feels cheated if you aren't squeezing every MPH or HP out of your car? This mod will enable you to squeeze an extra 10-15mm in both X and Y on your bed. It doesn't sound like much but that's 10% more. I've included the left AND right end stops although I discovered during testing that the fabrikator actually ignores the right sensor (and conversely the rear sensor and relies on the value set in the firmware. So the left one is all you need, I think. So replace your existing left hand X axis magnet mount with this one and then tune it manually (by moving the head back and forth). The screw still needs to go behind the magnet as it prevents it dropping out (trust me!). For you Y axis you can adjust the end points on the right hand side of the unit by hand. Don't forget the bed retainer at the front!!! That will set you min X and Y. Then you need to set the max in the firmware using the following lines in the configuration.h tab. #define X_MAX_POS 150 #define X_MIN_POS 0 #define Y_MAX_POS 150 #define Y_MIN_POS 0 #define Z_MAX_POS 105 #define Z_MIN_POS 0 X is pretty simple, just set that to 160. Y is more complicated as it depends on how much your front and rear Y tension screws stick out. Have a look at the clearance when you traverse all the way back and add that distance to the Y max value. It's pretty easy when you get into it, just don't do 10mm moves as that could result in a really hard crash into the end stop!
