Turntable Dust cover Support Arm

Turntable Dust cover Support Arm

This is a simple swinging dust cover support arm, designed to keep your dust cover in the "up" position if your hinge springs no longer keep it up. You will need a 3mm x 15mm (or equivalent) bolt and nut. You will need to drill a small hole in the dust cover for the bolt to go through. There is a spacer for the bolt to go through, and the arm slips over the spacer, so it will swing freely even when the nut is tightened up. The arm will swing up into place by itself when you raise the dust cover... to close it, just give the arm a tap, and it will move back out of place allowing the dust cover to close on its own.. I ended up putting the arm on the inside of the dust cover on my turntable, as the edge of the dust cover is flush with the side of the base, but you may want to put it on the outside depending on your design.
