TV Speaker Horn For Vizio TV

So while I like my big-ass living room TV, one of the concessions made is that the speakers are mounted forwarding downward. Speakers were definitely an after-thought as it was assumed one would use a receiver. We definitely do, but for times when I'm not watching something that requires amazing audio, I wanted to save power (and avoid throwing extra heat in the house on hot summer days) by using the TV speakers. Well since the speakers are facing our entertainment stand instead of facing outwards, the audio is tinny, muffled, and requires turning the TV up louder than one should have to. So I built a simple stand to try to better reflect the audio forward. It's not scientific. It can be improved (e.g. I need to make a top for it, or make the outlet more of a horn design) but, functionally, it works as a good first pass. The dimensions are for my Vizio 65" which has a speaker grille that is around 38x108 mm with a stand that's around 63mm in height. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/75Gt0YVMUry This was my first silly part to share. I hope you found it useful but, by all means, imrpove it if you feel like it! Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Notes: You shouldn't need supports, although the curve on the back end might not look amazing. One could add more support back there, but I opted not to because no one sees it and the curve where the sound bounces off looked fine. But you could edit it in TinkerCAD and make the feet longer if you wanted. There is not top (yet). Originally I had it enclosed but that was turning out to be a bridging nightmare and since I'm still waiting to do the DiiiCooler upgrade on my Maker Select, I opted to just not deal with it fro now and make one later. It might work better with a top, but it worked well enough without one to start using it as-is. I printed it with 3 shells and zero infill. There isn't many places to worry about infill and it's not having to hold any weight other than itself. 2 shells might be just fine. I picked 3 to make sure it was a solid black with no gaps and such.
