Platform for mounting a GoPro in it's protective/waterproof case on a TwinStar 2 remote controlled plane. Requires a Ø4-5mm full threaded bolt, a nut and preferably two small washers for safe tightening without damaging the plastic of either the print or the GoPro case. The platform replaces the default foam cockpit of the plane, and is held in place by rubber bands around the body. The "Stopper" piece fits into the two holes of the platform, and prevents the platform from sliding forward, due to the vertical faces pushing against the foam walls in front of the servos below. NOTE: The "stopper" piece needs to be held down against the platform and plane with a rubber band over it. There's a small gap for the rubber band on the upper side of the stopper for this purpose (see pictures). I recommend using multiple rubber bands to hold the platform in place, but using one over the stopper is essential. I flew my TwinStar 2 with this the same evening as I printed it, and it worked like a charm. The nut and bolt could be tightened so that it's possible to tilt the camera into position, but still have it be fixed during flight.
