A 3D Zoetrope consisting of hearts twirling through a Voronoi Torus. Video here: https://youtu.be/qa5iA32cl8g *Pictures really don't do it justice* The mounting point is designed for a standard snap-locking DVD motor. It is designed without bottom slots to allow light through, but can still be viewed on our Hex Strobe Docks and Wooden Strobe Docks. It was then printed in Natural clear PLA to allow light to diffuse through the plastic from within. If designing a motorized strobe dock of your own, it can also be printed in a colored plastic and bathed under white or colored strobe lights from above. Strobe Docks can also be purchased on our website at https://www.novatropes.com This model is much better suited for overhead-lit configurations as light doesn't penetrate the bottom plate very nicely when lit from beneath. Note: Mounting snap-hole dimensions are very precise. Print with a .4mm nozzle with PLA only. Printing with a raft is also imperative, as even slight bed leveling imperfections will result in the statue "wobbling" during operation and creating unpleasant visual noise.
