With this adapter you can grip the drivers stronger. It could be for tightening smaller bits better or overall more strength when applying a force. I'd recommend plane-cutting with your slicer and printing a small ring for test first before deciding on what % scale up/down fits your handle. Current design assumes handle size outer diameter is 10.20 mm and print inner bore diameter is 10.30, leaving 0.10 mm for fit tolerance. I had to knock this in with a mallet and I prefer this to be a tight fit, so it won't turn as I apply force to twist the bit.
