Twist-lock Curtain Pull

Twist-lock Curtain Pull

thingiverse

When one of my curtain pulls disintegrated due to old age, I decided to make my own. I had a lot of frayed strings to hide, as well as an unsightly and stubborn knot at the end to deal with. The result is this three-part curtain pull. Print two copies of the upper section and one of the bottom, thread your pre-existing knots around the center of one upper section, and close the second upper section around it. Secure the two upper halves with superglue if you want to. Insert the upper assembly into the lower bell, and twist to lock. You may need to print the lower section slightly larger at 102-105%, and clean up interferences with sandpaper or a blade.
