Twisted Tea Light Holder

Twisted Tea Light Holder

This is a LED Tea light holder I designed to test out mixing transparent filament in with other colors. I figured a tea light holder would be a good test project. I also wanted to learn how to use 123D Design and this is my first project using the program. The printer has a diamond hotend and I am mixing three colors together at once. Cyan, Magenta, and Transparent clear. The color is in a ratio of 1 Cyan, 1 Magenta, and 4 Clear. The hole in the bottom is slightly under sized and needs cleaned out just a bit for a tight fit to the tea light. The tea light I am using is from hobby lobby and the size is 4.7cm x 3.7cm. Print Settings Printer: Folgertech Prusa I3 with Diamond Hotend Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 15% Notes: For a smoother look, a .2mm layer height looks good. I like how a .3mm layer height looks for this project and that is what is in the pictures.
