Vase mode + translucent filament = beautiful ornaments for your tree. I found two ornaments I liked, a round one and an icicle. I stretched the icicle to make it long and skinny and added stems to both shapes. Then I designed a hanger that fit over the stem like a cap. The ornaments both print well in vase mode with just a skirt. I used .2mm layer height, .6mm line width (150% of what I usually use for my .4mm nozzle), and 4 bottom layers. These settings gave me a light and strong ornament. The hanger is fussy to print. I found that printing on a raft, lowering the hot end temperature, and increasing the first row line width to 150% really helped. I printed mine at .2mm layer height and with 20% infill. The hanger is meant to fit snugly, but if yours turn out a little loose, you can secure them with a drop of glue.
