This is a badge (or employee ID) holder with a location for a second card. Some workplaces have separate cards that act as keys for specific locations or systems. The second card key is easily removed so it can be inserted into a card reader if needed. The voronoi pattern so every time you regenerate the design in OpenSCAD you will get different voronoi pasterns The pictures may look a little distorted but the design is for standard, credit card sized, cards (3 3/8" x 2 1/8"). Assembly: The badge holder is printed in three parts. The three parts need to be fastened together using friction welding or glue. I put all three parts together then friction welded after all of the parts were assembled. You can see where I friction welded the parts together in the picture of the back of the badge holder. If you don't know what friction welding is look at my blog post and videos on the topic: More information on the process used for friction welding this thing is available here: http://www.scorchworks.com/Blog/friction-welding-with-a-dremel-rotary-tool/ Licence Details: The licence for this item is GNU-GPL which is inherited from the "OpenSCAD Voronoi Generator by felipesanches" if the Voronoi portion of the OpenSCAD code is removed the remaining code can be considered public domain.
