Industry of the Ordinary (Adam Brooks and Mathew Wilson) are be having a mid-career retrospective, Industry of the Ordinary: 2003–2013, Sic Transit Gloria Mundi in the main exhibition hall on the fourth floor of the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street, Chicago, Illinois 60602 and throughout the entire building and beyond. As part of their project they invited over 60 artists to produce a portrait of them. I contributed a 3d printed sculpture / necklace to the mix. There are four different "beads," each one featuring Adam and Mat's faces duplicated three times. Additional collars and spheres have been added as appropriate. This iteration is connected via a white leather cord and tied at the back. To view the piece in person and see the rest of the exhibition it is on display at the Chicago Cultural Center through Feb 17th, 2013. Chicago Cultural Center 78 E.
