With this Two Part Display Case you can showcase anything from pastries to jewelry. Make it out of wood and it can be used as a mini cabinet. The pieces are press fit, but glue should also be used for extra security. The case is composed of two compartments. The bottom is about 12"x24" and has a built in shelf. The top, which is not attached, is about 12"x12". Both pieces have sliding doors. Should be made out of .20" thick material, whether it be wood or acrylic on a laser cutter. Made by Simcha Davis Instructions There are 11 files that need to be printed, so in the top corner there are etchings of what each piece is. The abbreviations are as followed: B = Bottom Ba = Back L = Left R = Right S = Shelf T = Top The name of each file also describes the pieces that are being printed. You should have 11 pieces of 12x24 of the material you are using. The material should be .20" thick. The best glue to use if you are making it out of acrylic is IPS's WELD-ON #16 (Solvent Cement for Joining Acrylic). If your case needs to be food safe, line the joints with a Food Service Safe Silicone Adhesive (we used Kason Rubber Seal). Directions First print out all 11 files. Next begin to assemble the bottom compartment. If you are using glue, be sure to put the glue on each piece before you assemble it. Insert the 12" tracks into 12x24 bottom piece. Then put up the back and left walls, then the shelf and lastly the right wall. Insert the 12x10 doors, one door between one set of tracks and the 2nd door between the other tracks. Lastly put on the top piece. Follow steps 3-6 using the pieces for the 12x12 compartment. Put on clamps and wait for glue to dry. Fill it up and enjoy!
