Two-sided decorative slab with masks

This panel is worked on both sides, the front face presents sculptures of the mask of a deity wearing a crown in archaizing style and a tripod in the background; on the opposite side, against the background of a theatre tent, is a mask from New Comedy. Panels of this tyle, sculpted on both sides, were placed on small pillars or columns to decorate gardens. Second half of the 1st century AD.
