Hey guys, this is my design for a V6 hotend mount on the Two Trees Sapphire Pro. It should also fit the Sapphire Plus. I know that there are already some really good variants for mounting a V6 existing .. but I wanted to create a design with as few parts as possible. Therefore I wanted to use a 40x40x10 hotend fan and a 5015 radial part cooling fan to get rid of the standard noisy and ineffective fans. And the biggest reason, why I created this design, is that I wanted to be able to have a look at the nozzle while printing. So, what do you need to mount this design after printing? - E3D V6-like hotend - 8x M3 brass thread inserts to melt in with a soldering iron (I started using the ruthex ones, which you can find on amazon - trust me, after using it, you'll never want to go back to the inserted square or hex nut method again) - 24V 5015 radial fan - 40mm x 40mm x 10mm hotend fan (I'm using a 12V Noctua with a stepdown converter) - 2x M3x20mm hex head screws for mounting the radial fan - 4x M3x12mm (or M3x14mm) hex head screws for the hotend fan - 2x M3x18mm hex head screws for clamping down the hotend within the two parts of the mount For mounting the whole assembly to the carriage, you can use the original three M4 and two M3 screws. This is my first design so please be gentle. If there are any suggestions or any ideas for improvements, write it down in the comments brlow and I'll post you the .step files. If you're interested, please have a look at my other designs for the Sapphire Pro and feel free to give me some feedback.
