<p><strong>Prologue</strong></p><p>This is a <strong>WORKING</strong> remix of the SP-5 H2 mount by Lee82UK.</p><p>The original design had several flaws, including by not limited to:</p><ul><li>Impossible to mount 2 5015 fans on this extruder and not hit the SP-5 frame.</li><li>The BLTouch probe when retracted is lower than the nozzle and it interferes with the M3 screw needed to mount it on the extruder.</li><li>The 5015 blower fans do not screw on anything!&nbsp;</li></ul><p>This remix (redesign) addresses the above areas in order to provide a working solution (as shown by the actual pictures mounted on my SP-5 v1.1).</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Printing Tips</strong></p><p>It is highly recommended to print all parts in ABS with a 15% gyroid infil, this turned out to produce the strongest parts without adding much weight (total weight with the H2, 3DTouch, 2 5015 fanducts, 2 5015 supported fans and screws is 285g). If you cannot print with ABS, try at least to print the fanducts with PETG or other high temperature resistant material.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Part list</strong></p><p>The complete solution contains:</p><ul><li>The main H2 extruder mount</li><li>The 3DTouch/BLTouch mount</li><li>The X-axis endstop extension</li><li>Two pieces of the 5015 fanduct; two versions provided, one with support arm and one without (use glue to secure the fan if you go with the supportless version).</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>Use washers when you have a screw or other metal part come in touch with plastic part, this improves the longevity. You will need the following screws:</p><ul><li>2 M4x12 screws with 2 assorted nuts,2 washers and 1 M4x8 screw for the main mount (rear side).</li><li>2 M3x12 screws with assorted nuts and washers for the main mount (front side).</li><li>2 M3x12 screws with washers for the main mount (top side).</li><li>2 M3x20 screws with assorted nuts and washers for the 5015 support arms.</li><li>4 M3x12 screws with assorted washers for mounting the 5015 fanducts to main body.</li><li>2 M3x8 screws with assorted washers for mounting the 3DTouch/BLTouch mount.</li><li>2 M3x30 screws for mounting the extruder cooling fan.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Firmware setup</strong></p><p>The Nozzle to Probe offset is 36,7mm to the left and 22,8mm to the back.</p><p>Remember to perform an extruder e-steps calibration before the first print.</p><p>On my setup with the stock firmware, the needed e-steps were 1887.59.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Epilogue</strong></p><p>Many thanks to Lee82UK for providing the original design.</p>
