Was tired of a warped bed and having to tape a piece of glass to the bed constantly. Occasionally and more often on longer prints the tape would come loose and the glass plate would shift, ruining the print. I then decided to order a 1/4 x 7-1/4 x 11-1/2 inch piece of annealed glass with a flat grind on it all the way around. These are the pieces that hold the bed to the Y-axis carriage. This bed has improved my setup, cleaning, over all printing tremendously. 11/19/15 I just included a sketchup file of the holder in case those of you want to edit it to your specific bed materials size and shape. Both the front and back piece are in the one file, they are asymmetric pieces. Print Settings Printer: QU BD TwoUp Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: I designed this a while ago(August 2015), found two files labeled front and back, they may be mirror images of each other. Custom Section Glass orders don't have tight tolerences. I ordered the glass to be 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches. The dimensions of the actual pieces can be off by up to 1/8 inch. I used electrical tape to cushion the glass in the plastic and to give friction so it won't slide in the plastic holders. More or less may be needed based on the actual size of your glass plate. The glass order was about $45 for one custom piece and $49 for two of them(both prices include the shipping), I ordered two just in case I broke one. Though the tolerances aren't great, the two pieces of glass are actually exactly the same, so I can interchange them with no problems.
