TX joysticks for sim

Added a regular joystick if you want one of them or both to not have a switch of some sort. also my printer is different to yours, sizes may be off for you because i designed to what my printer can do this is a simple joystick for velocidrone or any flight sim. i designed it to rehouse the momentary switch on my qx7 so i can play combat modes on velocidrone. i had to add wires to the momentary switch to make them reach and drilled a 3 mm hole in the case of my qx7 so the wires didnt just dangle everywhere. im not sure about your radios but this should in theory work for other radios. i used regular .2 draft settings all around. infil was 10-15% for less weight. tree supports "touching buildplate", there is a flat side to these parts, i recommend printing them on that flat side. the bottom cap is gonna be tight when giving it the final twist, just undo it and redo it a few times to help it go on all the way. so what your gonna do is take the top stick end of the tx sticks off, slip the bottom piece in place and put the stick end back on and make it finger tight, then screw on the joystick. *footnotes* this is recommended on wide stance radios like the qx7, tbs tango v1, or the baby child of the two, the frango! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2794743. you can also make or build a lap or desk platform thatll hold the insides of the radio and mount the gimbals wide enough to your liking. this is weird at first but in a matter of minutes adjusting, i had pretty good control and with velocidrones combat mode, i was agile in my maneuvers, and was able to compete in dogfights effectively. i maxed out my tension so the sticks dont flopp around and increased my ratcheting on the sticks to feel how much im traveling and dictate where im at on my sticks. this will give you a wider throw so adjust your rates. i dont recommend using these joysticks to fly for real unless you accept i am not responsible for anything if anything goes wrong. actually, rc planes might fair well with these?!
