TYPE 1 Wheel weight carriers for the GRP 1:8th RC-BIKE wheels. They can hold 13 grams of 4,5mm round air gun bullets on each side of the rim. 13+13 grams load can be useful if you run a slow track with low grip. Quick and easy change of the load is done by backing off the screws a little, then push the balls in or out of their seats with a suitable pointed tool. The balls are locked in place by the carrier but the centrifugal load is distributed on the lip of the wheel rim. The weights are regular 4,5mm air gun bullets. They can be found cheap in most sport shops. This is the TYPE 1. It has a lower profile than the TYPE 2 to allow for a worn front tire and high lean angles but it's a little weaker. The full 18 ball load may be too much.
