Type 18e (XVIIIe) Longsword

Type 18e (XVIIIe) Longsword

grabcad

This is sword modeled after Oakeshott's topology of a type 18e longsword, a blade found almost exclusively in 15th and 16th centuries in the Danish army. This model is a prime example of how boundary and loft cuts and extrudes (and their equivalents in non-SolidWorks CAD programs) can create complex and non-linear shapes, as seen in the sword's cross section.GrabCAD's guidelines restrict "dangerous or offensive weapons", however give no clear example. I do not feel this fits in that category, but I do acknowledge their right to remove it if they feel as such.
