A type 31 frigate soon to be introduced to the Royal Navy in 1/1200 Triang Minic style. I’ve decided to give the ship a fictional weapons load out of a 48 cell mk41 VLS, 4 x deck mounted Naval Strike Missile launchers (similar layout is expected to replace Harpoon in RN service and is likely to eventually migrate to Type 31s) and SeaRAM launchers in place of the 2 40mm mk4 guns. Also decided to model it with a radar similar to the SAMPSON system on the Type 45s. I had some difficulty getting the hull to look even remotely right in Tinkercad so borrowed the front end from decapods River class model. Edit 14/06/23 - improved design for main gun
