Panel mount variant of the YASH design for Type A Machines. Mounts to pegboard and uses the screws that hold those decorative side panels on. Installation instructions: 1. Ensure the pegboard to which you are mounting this spool holder can support the weight of both the spool holder with vitamins, as well as the spool itself! 2. Run the screws through the front of the holder and through the pegboard itself. 3. Add the washers to the screw threads on the rear side of the pegboard, followed by the lock nuts. Or regular nuts if you prefer. 4. Add the spool diameter adaptors you already had or printed by visiting the link below. 5. Add your filament and the RP nut to the assembly, and enjoy a panel mount solution to the age old problem of where-the-heck-am-I-gonna-put-my-filament-this-time. Additional notes: Why did I make this? 1. Running out of ways to keep busy during a pandemic. 2. Insufficient overhead clearance in my closet-based fablab to support the standard YASH design. How did I make this? I manually edited the YASH design, facet by facet, in an old version of SketchUp. A far from ideal way to design something, but since I've been using SketchUp for geez almost 12 years I had the muscle memory - and also I wasn't sure what kind of thread was used in the design and am not particularly experienced in 3DP thread design, so I figured this would be the fastest and most easy route for me.
