I originally made a GPS mount for my Tyro129 and it worked great. However, I am planning on installing a different camera in my frame and the space under the top plate was prime real estate. So I had to evict my Rx and needed a good place to install it. I wanted to simply put it under the original GPS mount and be done with it. But the original one was able to bend down and touch the Rx. Plus the gap was a tad to narrow for my liking. I designed this one to easily accommodate the Rx and keep the mount from damaging the it in the event of a crash. The forward end now has a lip that supports the end of the mount and keeps it from flexing downward. I also have switched filament types from PLA on the original one to PETG on this one. The PETG is supposed to be stronger and more heat resistant than PLA. I don't know but it does seem to have more rigidity.
