U.S. Coin Holder Tubes

U.S. Coin Holder Tubes

thingiverse

I looked around thingiverse and couldn't find exactly what I wanted so I made these coin holder tubes. They are just a simple tube with a semi open bottom designed to hold the amount of currency normally found in one roll. Quarters: $10 Dime: $5 Nickels: $2 Pennies: $0.50 I designed these in Fusion 360 to be fully parametric. You just have to go into Parameters and change the CoinDiameter, CoinThickness & CoinQuantity to the predefined fields I put in for Quarters, Dimes, Nickels and Pennies. They work great, but for some reason the Quarter tube I printed out wants to accept 41 Quarters instead of 40, maybe coins get thinner over time? Anyway, that is easily resolved by changing the QuaterQuantity value to 39 but I want to look into it more before I go that route. I got the dimensions for the coins from this website: https://mdmetric.com/tech/coinmeasure.htm Maybe their numbers are slightly off?
