The people of Ufactory were kind enough to publish their robot arm design as a STEP file on grabcad.com. However, STEP files do not easily translate to the laser cutter. For that reason, I recreated the design in solidworks and exported the vector files to make it easier for those who wish to make their own U-arm. Note that the parts that have a tiny red G on them are for the gripper assembly. For detailed assembly instructions, please go here:http://blog.ufactory.cc/assembly-diagram-of-uarm/ Instructions Pretty self explanatory. the document titled 5mm should be cut out of a material that is 5mm thick. Likewise, the file titled 2_5mm should be cut using material 2.5mm thick.
With this file you will be able to print Uarm plans with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Uarm plans.
