So again, I didn't want to spend the money and since I have a 3d printer, I made what I needed. I wanted a way to mount my visor garage door opener (a genie model visor mounted opener) to my motorcycle. I didn't want to buy the handlebar mount which I could convert with some Sugru to mount the opener. So I looked at the design and fabricated one in Tinkercad and printed it. Been using it for a few days now and it seems to hold up pretty good. I will print it in ABS next to see if that is stronger but so far the PLA works pretty good. I made a small mount I double stickied on the back of the opener and I'll include that STL file and some pics as well. I think I spent about $1.25 US on the u-bolt. The size I used was a 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 2" (you can see it in the pics) I think you can go to boltdepot dot com and find one similar size but I bought mine at Ace and I made the STL to work with that size. If you are wondering what the black stuff is I put around the uBolt, that was heatshrink that I forced on there (not very well I might add) just so that it had more black to match my bike. I was going to and probably still will do dip most of the ubolt in plastidip tool dip.
