UBS-100 Breadboard Baseplate

UBS-100 Breadboard Baseplate

This is a baseplate for the UBS-100 breadboard from Global Specialties. The adhesive backing of any breadboard becomes disgusting after a while if you don't actually stick it to a baseplate, and I hate using baseplates because they are often unnecessarily large and occupy desk space. If you're looking for a new breadboard, I recommend the UBS-100. Unlike many cheaper breadboards, the bus bars are permanently affixed to the main grid of pins. Also, while most other breadboards stagger the bus bar pins in between rows of the grid, the UBS-100 places them directly in line. And my favorite of all: The bus bars break in the center of the breadboard so that they can each be individually powered. It's the only breadboard I use. Remove the stock adhesive backing, then use M3 nuts and bolts to mount the breadboard to the baseplate.
