New Comments: 2018-04-09 (See model in Yellow Plastic): Irritated at the fragile design, I revamped it, so this design is a little stronger, and does not "snap" into place. Added Hooks so that rubberbands can be used to hold it in place, and helps to easily remove it if needed. A rubberband is also used to secure the camera in place; twisted once just over the top of the camera for improved hold. Original Comments (See model in Red Plastic): This is a remix of thingiverse UDI U818A Cover Mod. It features a storage area for a 2nd battery either power the camera separately, or in combination with the original 1st battery (stored beneath) to provide longer flight times. If a separate battery is needed to only power the camera, then platform that supports the battery can be trimmed (shortened) with scissors to match the length of the battery. The corners are reinforced, but after removing and resnapping back on several times, tape may be needed to hold it in place. P.S. The red wire in the picture that runs through the lower section of a motor is simply an extended antenna. This did not seem to help the distance for control that much if at all.
