UFO Flying Saucer
thingiverse
Inspired by the monthly subscription box from Alien3D, I created a model that showcases each of the month's filaments in a unique way. There are 4 distinct versions, and I'm excited to share them with you. Version one features a taller design with increased stress on the lower part during printing, making it a true challenge without supports. The angle is particularly tricky, requiring precision and skill. Version two is slightly smaller but still boasts an outside angle that demands great care when printing. Versions three and four are nearly identical, except version four has a small hole allowing you to place it on a stand and spin it with ease. To experience the thrill of receiving new filaments each month, sign up for the Alien3D subscription box at https://www.alien3d.us/. Use my referral code REFI3EUGXTX5B to get $5 off your first box. If you're curious about what's inside the box, check out my unboxing video for the Alien3D July box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6UuuOYVQQ0&t=98s. For a closer look at the UFO prints, watch my follow-up video (issues with Frames per second will be resolved once I upgrade my recording devices).
