Creality Filament Runout Sensor CR-10S & Dual Gear Extruder. I was inspired by several designs. I only found one link, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2822322 The original filament runout sensor mount was functional but hard to mount. I wanted a design that would have a bar reach around and hold it in place without using any screws. This makes it a lot easier to remove when things go wrong. I built one to work with the original extruder, but when I changed to using a dual gear extruder, I had to redesign the height. Loading the latest Marlin software was a better upgrade than the new extruder. The stock runout sensor is screwed into place. The holes are slightly undersize and will tap as you turn the screws into the holes. Do not over tighten or the threads will strip out. This is a work in progress, but honestly there are more fun projects to work on than improving this one.
