UK Google Heat Link E Thermostat Mount

This design is for a UK Google Thermostat E. The mount enables the thermostat to be positioned neatly at the wall plug since the UK thermostat E does not come with any bracket. The design consists of 3 parts - the main part, an inner base part and a plug mount. They all push fit together. The plug mount needs to be a snug where the USB connector slides inside it. Essentially this part supports the entire item once constructed (push fit together). The UK thermostat E comes with super long USB cable as standard. There are 3 designs offered here: <1.> This is to accommodate a standard thermostat E with its entire length of USB cable. This is the deepest base and doesn't require you to modify your thermostat E. STL - download the 3 parts staring with 1A -- <2.> Based on the above design but for people who are happy to cut, solder and heat shrink the USB cable so that its shorter. The base part has less depth than the above. STL - download the 3 parts starting with 2B -- <3.> Slightly amended design with different cable routing. This design is for people who are happy to cut, solder and heat shrink the USB cable so that its shorter. This base part is the one that has the smallest depth of all 3 designs. STL - download the 3 parts starting with 3C -- Each design allows for you to slightly angle your thermostat with notches on the main part. The USB cable is mostly concealed in the design for a clean look. The photos of the printed design are for a standard UK thermostat E with full length USB cable. i.e. no modification to the thermostat.
