UK Light Switch Pattress Extension

An insert that allows an existing UK domestic light switch to be replaced with a dimmer or other similar, deep, light switch (e.g. Lightwave RF). The extension piece fits between the switch front plate and the existing switch box on the wall. The objective of the piece was to avoid having to remove the existing back box from the wall, in which case I'd have had to  make the hole deeper and then fit the new, deeper box and re-plaster around it - a lot of work! As you can see from the photo, the extension piece fits fine and creates enough depth to allow the new switch to be used with the existing wires but isn't too deep.
