Here is an early design of dual cree led XHP70.1 strobe. ~ Work In progress ~ idea is to set 2 XHP70.1 cree led with preset angle on the base. print the cover with a factor like 102% so it can be a litlle bit bigger (or print it directly with transparent filament and high temperature so i can be quite transparent after polishing) once led are installed and conected, you can use the cover as a mold, filled with liquid acrylic , plunge the led on support and let it dry. As led are pretty cheep, once it's dead, you can create a new side probe. All files, including solidworks one, are present so you can re-design it as you wish Electronic part consist of an arduino driving FET and high power resistor to limit current. everything is set on an aluminium box using thermal glue paste to prevent any perturbation on radio component wire leading to led are twisted all along (much better and cheaper than using shield cable) for the same reason
