I Made this one with PLA, but I'm sure ABS Filament will work. I used a .5mm Nozzle, no supports and .4mm layer height. The parts fit nicely on a build platform around 8.5in X 8.5in. This parts can fit on a 8.2x 8.2 square platform bed, but you have to reduce Slic3r skirt from 6mm to 1mm and place the part off center and on a 45 degree angle on the platter . Its made up of 4 parts clipped together with bull dog clips. This cover can stay on while prints are being made. This cover can be installed whithout taking the spool off of the support arms and threaded rod shown in the photos. I drop in a few desicant bags to help minimize moisture. If my spool were reversed the desicant bags could lay in the 2 rectanglular protrusions. When not in use I plug the openeing with foam to reduce moisture intrusion. This assembly is not air tight.
