I liked the original design but didn't want to screw or cut into the acrylic, so I modified it to use glue and magnets instead. I also used 2mm acrylic which is cheaper, and this changed some of the parts a little. I used: • 6 - 3mm x 20mm hex screws (socket cap) • 4 - 8mm x 1.5mm neodymium magnets (found on ebay) • 1 - 311mm x 385mm x 2mm acrylic sheet. Anything between 300 and 311mm wide should work, and obviously height will depend on extended or normal. • Epoxy. Although superglue and weld-on #4 should work if hinges are printed in PLA. My acrylic was laser cut, so I can ensure pretty exact dimensions. I've done a couple ABS prints on high heat and everything holds together just fine. My hinges were printed in PLA. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: I recommend printing handle with magnet holes facing out and the handle side down. This leaves only a slight overhang where it is glued to the door, but my UM2 handled that just fine.
