Ultimaker 5S Belt Tensioner Rework

Ultimaker 5S Belt Tensioner Rework

See Update below Summary This is a redesign of the Ultimaker S5 Belt Tensioners/Rod Holders. Ours wore out and the rods no longer stayed in the inset. When I chose to replace the old tensioners I discovered just how inconvenient it is to remove them. The Ultimaker S5 tensioners are designed with clips on both sides and do not require screws to assemble. Unfortunately this means that it is very difficult to remove them while the machine is fully assembled. In addition to this the brand name Ultimaker Belt Tensioners are hard to find by themselves and the set with the belts is very expensive. I figured this would be a fun exercise and maybe help a few people at the same time. This design ditches the 2 clips on top and bottom and replaces them with a single clip and 2 M3 and one M2 screws. this allows them to be installed and removed more easily (it's still a pain but it's easier). I've included the STEP file. If you choose to publish a mod we would appreciate attribution. I have also included a project file for the Prusa Mini. UPDATE: v42 - Final Version for now This version has been updated to make the housing easier to install. The original version had issues staying clipped. I reduced the height of the outside piece, increased the height of the clip and decreased the slope of the bottom of the bearing support on the inside piece so it will slide over the bearing more easily when installing. This version is the one installed on our Ultimaker now and it works perfectly. If you have any suggestions as to how I can improve these let me know.
